The Forsaken

This is my entry for Grambo-Nitros contest . The theme of this contest is "My God". So we are to present of what my idea of God is. I was raised as a Roman Catholic. So my idea of God is an angry God who is judgemental and will forsake you if you disobey his laws. My painting is an image of a fallen angel that was cast out from heaven. There is no image of God there but it shows what God does. I do not believe in this anymore but this idea of this kind of god is still very influential on us.

Personally there is no way you can describe God or to put God in an artform or write about it. It's like placing the whole ocean in a glass of water.
